UWA – Uwaila Vera Omozuwa , the 22 year-old University of Benin undergraduate who was raped and gruesomely murdered inside a Redeemed Church in Benin is said to be a lover to the resident pastor of the church, e-nigeria! has now gathered.

Recall that earlier, following a bribery allegation leveled against the Police, men of the Department of State Security Service – DSS were deployed to conduct a forensic investigation which yielded the needed result in less than 24 hours.

The DSS reportedly arrested a suspect in connection with the dastardly act who was identified as Chibuzor. The assailant in company of others still at large were said to have accosted the deceased while she was reading inside the Church, raped and murdered her with a fire extinguisher from which a finger print was discovered.

Meanwhile, a new dimension has now unfolded in the 22 year-old Uwaila Vera-story. According to Ayo Ademokoya, a journalist who disclosed a new twist to the story few hours ago, Uwa was allegedly pregnant for the RCCG pastor and refused to abort the baby.

In an attempt to cover his tracks, the pastor was said to have paid Chibuzor the sum of N1.5 million alongside a promise to enable him with a travel visa, before Covid-19 disrupted their plans.

“The Pastor made arrangement for them to meet at their usual hangout spot which is the church and the pastor set her up.

He paid some hoodlums 1.5 million and told them where to meet the girl. So, instead of meeting the pastor in the church, the girl met the hoodlums.

After hitting her head with a fire extinguisher, the hoodlums decided to have a taste of her before she died, so, they took their turns.

The pastor did that to cover his sins but it has backfired. Both the pastor and his wife are on the run because they planed dastardly act together”, those were the exact words of Ayo Ademokoya.

In the wake of Uwa’s murder, Nigerian social media users joined voices with her family to cry for justice. The police were initially reluctant until recently.
