Trinity Guy – Skit Maker To Remain in Prison Till August as case is adjourned

Trinity Guy, a popular skit maker who was remanded in prison after he was arraigned by the Nigeria Police is to remain in custody after his case was adjourned to August 3rd, 2023.

ENigeria Newspaper reports that Trinity Guy was arraigned at a Magistrate court Iyaganku, Ibadan, Oyo State capital over allegations bordering on sexualising a minor in his viral skit video

Recall that the Nigerian Police, through Force Public Relation Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, called for the arrest of Trinity Guy following a viral video of his dangerous pranks.

A statement by the Oyo State Police Command on Friday, disclosed that the skit maker and parent of the little girl in viral video were quizzed by the Command and would appear in court Monday (today).

Appearing before the Magistrate, Olúdáre Adebayo, counsel to the defendant who was brought before the magistrate bybthe Police, urged the court to grant his client bail.

Magistrate PO Adetuyibi, while denying the bail application, stated that the allegation against the Skit maker is currently receiving attention of the state Ministry of Justice.

The court also ordered that the parents of the little girl in the video be remanded alongside Trinityguy till next sitting.
The Magistrate therefore adjourned till July 11.
