Mr Eazi Zagadat Capital says it was an investor in Vydia, not the owner. After news broke that Zagadat Capital owned the music distribution management company Vydia, which was bought by gamma recently, the company is now issuing this clarification. Through its portfolio company emPawa Africa, it entered a partnership with Vydia to launch Cinch Distro. After the $1 billion sale, however, Zagadat Capital exited Vydia.

Reddit users first spotted the privacy issues with Edge last week, noticing that the latest version of Microsoft Edge sends a request to bingapis.com with the full URL of nearly every page you navigate to. Microsoft says it’s investigating the reports.

Spotify would “like to raise prices in 2023,” CEO Daniel Ek said during the company’s earnings call on Tuesday, as the company reported a first-quarter loss of about $248 million compared with a profit a year ago. But Ek said the pricing decision was dependent on ongoing negotiations with label partners.

Hugging Face, the AI startup backed by tens of millions in venture capital, has released an open-source alternative to OpenAI’s viral AI-powered chatbot, ChatGPT, dubbed HuggingChat.

The Federal Aviation Administration has grounded SpaceX’s Starship and Super Heavy program pending an investigation into the rocket’s first launch on April 20 which resulted in a mid-air explosion. A spokesman for the FAA said in a statement that an “anomaly occurred during the ascent” which resulted in the explosion.
