President Tinubu Constitutes New Committee Headed By Gbajabiamila
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has constituted a special committee to replace the boards of all federal government agencies that were dissolved last week.
The committee, which is led by the Chief of Staff, Hon. Gbajabiamila, is tasked with developing selection and nomination procedures that adhere to the legal requirements governing the expectations and qualifications of appointees in the impacted Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).

The committee must be thorough in its work, especially in comprehending the agencies whose formation Acts need federal character representation or specific educational and technical knowledge, according to a source in the Presidency. Tinubu has required this, the source said.
The committee will also be responsible for ensuring that the new boards are reflective of the diversity of the Nigerian people.
In addition to the Chief of Staff, the committee will include the Secretary to Government of the Federation, Sen. George Akume, the Special Adviser to the President on Political and Intergovernmental Affairs, Mallam Yau Darazo, and some legal and private sector experts.
