Jubilations as Villagers Fix Road to Natasha Akpoti's Village Destroyed by Yahaya Bello

Villagers were seen jubilating as roads leading to Natasha Akpoti village and polling unit were being fixed.

ENigeria Newspaper reports that on Friday, there reports in the media that roads leading to Ihima, Okehi LGA of Kogi state were destroyed by thugs allegedly loyal to the incumbent governor, Yahaya Bello.

According to an earlier report filed by ENigeria Newspaper, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who is the senatorial flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic Party vying to represent the people of Kogi Central, said, “We woke up to the news that Yahaya Bello had instructed the excavation of all access roads leading to my hometown, thereby cutting me out of travelling from my hometown.

“What this means is INEC will not be able to get materials to certain communities especially my hometown. What this also means is if Yahaya Bello and his APC goons decide to attack me and the good people of Kogi Central, it would be impossible for the Police to gain access. In the video seen by ENigeria Newspaper and posted below, the villagers were seen jubilating while a bulldozer fixed the part of the road that was initially damaged. The villagers turned out in large number to show solidarity. SEE VIDEO BELOW:
