Joke Silva Prays For Tinubu/Shettima Ahead Of 2023 Polls
Ahead of Saturday’s poll, Veteran Nollywood actress, Joke Silva prayed for the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory.
ENigerian Newspaper reports Joke Silva who pitch tenth with the former Lagos State governor in the upcoming presidential election noted that her principal fought well and will the race.
The actress who recently marked four decades in acting shared a photo of the APC presidential grand rally on social media while she prayed for Tinubu to coast home victory come the 25th of February.
She wrote: “The Grand Lagos Rally is the last of the presidential rallies for the APC. It has been a well-fought contest by our principal Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. And by God’s Grace, the ticket is his and Shettimas. As usual with @kemskis and my big Sis H.E Mrs Adejoke Orelope Adefulire SA to the President on SDGs. Thanks, ladies for everything”.
Backstory:
Joke Silver publicly declared her support for the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu on October 2022.
The thespian actress is among the many Nollywood acts who have thrown their weight behind the ‘Jagaban of Lagos’.
Hinging on the enormous contribution of the Two-time governor of Lagos, some of the Nollywood acts had pitched tents with APC.
In November 2021, John Okafor (Mr Ibu) with his colleagues like Foluke Daramola, Harry Anyanwu, and Benedict Johnson, drummed support for Tinubu’s presidential ambition.
While in June, Fausat Balogun, Yinka Quadri, Jide Kosoko, Taiwo Hassan, Faithia Williams, Femi Adebayo, Shola Kosoko, and Saheed Balogun, among others were seen campaigning for Tinubu.
Popular comedians Gbenga Adeyinka, Eniola Badmus, and Toyin Abraham amongst others also pledge their support for Tinubu.
