Jimi Agbaje breaks silence on joining APC

Jimi Agbaje a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party – PDP in Lagos has broken silence on news of him joining the ruling party, ENigeria Newspaper reports.

On Wednesday afternoon there were unconfirmed reports suggesting that Jimi Agbaje who was the flag bearer of the PDP in the last election has joined the ruling party.

According to unsubstantiated report, “Jimi Agbaje joined APC to support Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential ambition in 2023.
However, Agbaje’s camp has since refuted the claims and tagged it “fake news”.

Olujimi Kolawole Agbaje, is a Nigerian Pharmacist, and Politician. He was the 2015 PDP’s Lagos State Governorship candidate, but he lost out to the eventual winner Akinwunmi Ambode. He was the 2019 Lagos State gubernatorial election candidate for PDP in the 2019 general elections.
