Adam Nuru suspended: Adam Nuru, managing director of First City Monument Bank (FCMB), has been suspended E-nigeria! understands. However the suspension was enveloped under a narrative that has been tagged “force leave” following the paternity scandal that enveloped the bank in the last couple of days,.
Adam Nuru was accused of having an affair with a subordinate and former employee of the bank, Moyo Thomas who was also married at the time and together they had two children.
Moyo was said to be married to Tunde Thomas who also worked with FCMB but resigned from his employment on ethical grounds. Tunde reportedly died of heart attack upon finding out that his two kids belonged to Adam Nuru, his friends said ina petition on Change.org.
FCMB had in earlier statement informed the public that an investigation had ensued by an independent panel after friends of late Tunde filed the petition change.org asking for the sack of the now embattled Adam Nuru; a petition which had since been signed by over 2000 persons.
“Although it is a personal matter, the issue has gone really far and many allegations were made.”
As at the time of filing this report, E-nigeria! gathered that FCMB will make an official statement on the development on Wednesday before close of work.
