BREAKING NEWS: More Facts Emerge On Death Of Actor, Don Brymo

Don Brymo Uchegbu – more facts now emerging on the death of the Nollywood actor who died at age 56.

ENigeria Newspaper reported earlier that Don Brymo Uchegbu died in his sleep – this is according to earlier information available to us at the time, but some eyewitnesses and colleagues of the actor who spoke to us have shed more light on the death of the actor.

Famously known and addressed as Don Brymo in the movie industry, the Enugwu-Ukwu, Anambra State-born star actor is known for his hilarious but aggressive roles in movies mostly produced by producers based in the eastern part of the country.

Don Brymo had both his primary school and secondary school education in Anambra State.
His acting career began when he finished his secondary school and was performing stage dramas but officially joined the Nollywood industry in 2000.
Announcing his death on Facebook, a colleague, Mayor Ofoegbu wrote: “Plan for tomorrow but live for today. Tomorrow is not guaranteed.

Buttressing further on the actor’s death, some of his colleagues told ENigeria Newspaper that Don Brymo was shooting at a movie location in Ahoada, a Local Government Area in Rivers State when he was found collapsed inside his hotel room and was quickly rushed to the hospital where doctors confirmed that his sugar level was high, resulting into a partial stroke.

The next morning his face was seriously swollen and that was when he was taken to his hometown in Anambra where he subsequently died.

ENigeria Newspaper exclusively gathered that the actor was allegedly on the set of a movie producer identified as Francis when the initial crisis occurred, but despite entreaties by other casts in the movie, the producer allegedly refused to take him to the hospital until the situation got out of hand.

Announcing his death on Facebook, a colleague, Mayor Ofoegbu wrote: “Plan for tomorrow but live for today. Tomorrow is not guaranteed.

“I wrote those lines on my WhatsApp status yesterday evening. My man, my 5 & 6, Don Brymo Uchegbu, passed away in his sleep.
“I received the shocking news this morning and had to verify from his family. Chai Don Brymo my manchi. It’s hard to say goodbye. Nnukwu Nwa na Enugu ukwu.”

Before his sudden death, the actor had starred in a number of movies in the course of his career. Some of the Nollywood movies he Starred in include; No Money, The Fish Girl, Land of Fire, The gods Will Fight For Us, Oga Landlord and so many others.
He is very active and relevant in the industry and has contributed towards the upliftment of the industry.
