Buhari-led Group slams opposition for silence since results’ upload
The Buhari Media Organisation has slammed opposition parties for their silence after the upload of election results in the Independent National Electoral Commission’s portal.
INEC had declared APC presidential candidate, Tinubu, as the President-elect, but this declaration has caused problems because other political parties, such as the Labour Party, do not support his victory.

Consequently, the Labour Party’s presidential candidates, Peter Obi and Atiku, have taken their complaints to court.
Niyi Akinsiju, the chairman of the Buhari Media Organization (BMO), responded with a statement that has generated controversy online.
He pointed out that no political party has challenged any of the outcomes since the commission started posting results online.
“And we dare add that since the Commission began to upload scanned results sheets belatedly, none of the opposition parties have been able to discountenance any of the results with copies handed to their agents at each of the over 170,000 polling units where actual voting took place,” the group said.
