BREAKING: Pastor Adeboye Denies Meeting, Endorsing Tinubu for 2023 Election

Pastor Eunoch Adeboye the General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church has denied media report that he met Bolah Ahmed Tinubu in a secret meeting, ENigeria Newspaper reports.
On Monday, a media report stated that Bola Ahmed Tinubu, All Progressives Congress’s presidential candidate, had met with the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church.
The report, which is now generally believed to be an endorsement of Tinubu ahead of the 2023 election and has gone viral, has been debunked.
In the 2023 election, Kasheem Shettima, a Northern Muslim and former governor of Borno State, was chosen by Tinubu as his running mate, resulting in a Muslim-Muslim ticket that has taken a lot of heat from various quarters.
The apparent endorsement from a senior member of the Christian community like Pastor Adeboye would have served to assuage many Christians as the APC continued to devise ways to sell the notion to irate Nigerians, especially those from the Christian fold.
Pastor Adeboye, however, disputed not only the media claim but also any endorsement of Tinubu or other politicians in a statement obtained by ENigeria Newspaper.
Adeboye’s reaction came after several Nigerians have reacted over the news since on Monday when it became a media item.
