VIDEO: Arsonists bomb APC state assembly candidate resident, Anyanwu
Rivers State All Progressives Congress Assembly candidate for Etche Constituency, Hon. Charles Anyanwu escapes death as arsonists attack his residence.
ENigeria Newspaper reports Anyanwu survived an attack a few days ago when his convoy was shot by yet-to-be-identified gunmen during his campaign.
The lawmaker’s apartment was invaded by arsonists who detonated an improved substance suspected to be dynamite.
One of the arsonists captured by the security operatives of Anyanwu was identified as Destiny Benebo.
Destiny Benebo, a member of Governor Wike's Grassroots Development Initiative (GDI) was caught with dynamites.

Benebo who was caught with dynamites was alleged to be Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike’s Grassroots Development Initiative (GDI).
Although no lives were lost Anyanwu’s buildings and properties were destroyed.
Commenting on the matter, Rivers State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Grace Iringe Koko said the matter is under investigation.
