According to reports, a 34-year-old Nigerian man attacked and killed his wife as well as his in-home law’s in America.
The young guy, named as Udoamaka Nwamu of East Point, Fulton County, who had recently separated from his wife, assaulted her parents’ home in Douglasville, Georgia, killing her and his mother-in-law before killing himself, according to the article.
Deputies also discovered the deaths of Nwamu’s estranged wife, Kaliyah Nwamu, 24, and her mother, Nikita Green, 46. Pounds stated that the case is still being investigated.
Witnesses say Udoamaka Nwamu carried a firearm to his in-laws’ house on Long Lake Drive in Douglasville on Sunday, June 6, where his estranged wife, Kaliyah Nwamu, was living, and fired shots into the front and back of the house.
Multiple 911 calls were made after the gunfire, according to Douglas County Sheriff Tim Pounds, who stated deputies were dispatched to the house in a news release on Tuesday, June 8.
Nwamu forced his way inside the house before they arrived. Deputies were forced to take cover after being shot at from the house, while an emergency response team and a hostage negotiator were dispatched to the location.
“A single gunshot was heard during the course of the conversations with Udoamaka,” Pounds added. The response team entered the house and discovered Nwamu dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to Pounds.
