DSS move actor Chiwetalu Agu to Abuja Detention Center relative narrates:
A relative of the Nollywood star, on the other hand, said that they were denied access to him.
Because of the sensitivity of the situation, the family requested anonymity. Agu was transferred from Anambra to Enugu and finally to Abuja, according to the relative.
He said attempts to see him in Abuja were rebuffed by the DSS.
“We spent two days trying to figure out where he was.” We then learned that he had been transferred to Enugu and then Abuja.
“We’ve heard he’s being moved away from the Southeast.” We’ve tried to see him, but the DSS has refused to let us see him. Even his lawyers have been denied access to him, according to the relative.
Attempts to reach DSS spokesman Dr. Peter Afunaya, who declined calls and did not respond to a text message as of the time of reporting this story, were unsuccessful.
Chiwetalu Agu, who has been in a number of films, including ‘Rattlesnake: The Ahanna Story,’ which is currently available on Netflix, has long been a supporter of the Biafra movement.
He has also chastised President Muhammadu Buhari’s (retd.) administration for purportedly marginalizing the Igbo people.
