Uzoamaka Ohiri, ex-wife of comedian Chinedu Ani, a.k.a Nedu was grilled by The Lagos State Police Command ENigeria Newspaper reports.
ENigeria Newspaper reports that Uzoamaka Ohiri while in detention was interrogated by the police for three separate days and was forced to stop posting remarks on social media about her ex-husband on social media or any other media house.
According to reports, Ohiri’s probe was prompted by a petition filed by her ex-husband, Nedu.
The comedian’s ex-wife was asked to see CSP Margaret Ighodalo after receiving a letter of invitation with reference letter CR:3000/LSX/D10/Vol.3/71 signed by Fayoade Adegoke, the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the State Criminal Investigation Department at Panti.
Uzoamaka Ohiri was reportedly notified in a letter dated September 7, 2021 that the invitation was only for fact-finding purposes.
Uzoamaka hiri’s pictures were reportedly collected by the police when she arrived at the SCID on Wednesday, and she was interrogated for six hours before being given administrative release and told to return the next day.
She was advised not to make comments against Nedu on social media upon her return on Thursday, and she was also ordered to report to the SCID on Friday.
“My cousin is severely being harassed, humiliated, and intimidated by the Police because of the status of her ex-husband,” a family of Ohiri stated.

For the past week, the comedian and his ex-wife have been trending on social media amid allegations of adultery and physical violence.
