All the stars came out for the exclusive premiere of REDTV’s latest web series, Assistant Madams, ENigeria Newspaper reports
The United Bank for Africa’s online network, REDTV, continues to have an influence in the African continent’s creative business, with an emphasis on job creation and growth.
Dilish Mathews, the 2013 Big Brother Africa champion from Namibia; award-winning actresses Salma Mumim and Jocelyn Dumass from Ghana; and Mauwuli Gavor, a TV presenter turned actor from Ghana, were among the new cast members introduced in the second season of the show.
Sheyi Shay, a singer and songwriter, Timini Egbuson, Cee-C Nwadiora, Osas Ighodaro, who played the infamous Chioma in the first season of Assistant Madams, Femi Branch, Ademola Adedoyin, RED Hot Topics actor Temilola Young, and Eso Dike are among the cast members.
As the show opened at Cilantro in Lagos on Saturday night, the anticipation for the return of REDTV’s smash series Assistant Madams 2 was great.
Mr. Tony Elumelu, Chairman, United Bank for Africa Plc, as well as the cast and crew of The Men’s Club, Efa Iwara, Sharon Ooja, Enado Odigie, Nengi Adoki, and Segilola Ogidan, were all welcomed to the premiere by REDTV’s Executive Producer, Bola Atta.
Kunle Oshodi-Glover, Tobi Osoba, Obi Asika, Debola Williams and his wife Kehinde, Chude Jidenonwo, and Fresh L were among those in attendance.
UBA’s Group Director for Communications, Bola Atta, spoke about the enthusiasm and drive behind the bank’s ongoing support of the creative industry, saying that the bank is always looking for new methods to help more adolescents develop their abilities and embrace their creative side.

Mr. Tony Elumelu, Chairman of UBA, and Kennedy Uzoka, GMD, were commended by Atta for their support of all REDTV efforts. Tola Odunsi and Akins Akinkugbe, co-producers at Urban Vision, were also thanked by Assistant Madams.
