“My Client – Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, was truly abducted by the accursed Kenya’s Special Police Force on the 18th of June 2021 at their International Airport, and consequently brought to an unidentified house under degrading conditions,” Ejiofor stated in a statement seen by E-NIGERIA!
*He was unjustly detained for eight (good DAYS in Kenya* before being transported to their Nigerian equivalent. He was tortured and subjected to all types of barbaric treatment, which deteriorated his health condition.
He was allegedly investigated on a false charge while in their custody, ostensibly so that he could be released when their investigation showed him free of all the false accusations. They eventually asked their Nigerian counterpart to take over,” Ejiofor explained.
Barrister Ejiofor also testified that the Kenyan government was heavily involved in Nnamdi Kanu’s arrest and extradition.
“Before the illegal handover to their Nigerian equivalent, the Kenyan government was deeply implicated in the abduction, confinement, and ill-treatment of my Client.
Due to the dehumanizing treatment he received, a scan of his heart revealed that it had enlarged by 13%. For him, a proper medical assessment and treatment will be required right away.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu sent a message of goodwill to all IPOB family members around the world, pleading for your continued prayers.
We’re returning to the Court to get what we need. Other details will not be discussed here.
As time goes on, his bolstered legal team will address these transgressions in the appropriate forum. Other aspects of our legal strategy may remain confidential.
