Bandits Kidnap Over 70 Traders On Kaduna Highway

Suspected bandits have abducted scores of traders along Kaduna – Birnin Gwari Highway, ENigeria Newspaper reports.
Journalists were told that the traders’ convoy was attacked by a number of bandits in the morning, who later took them away into the forests.
An eyewitness who spoke to Daily Post disclosed that not fewer than 70 traders and scores of others from neighboring villages were abducted.
“We have about 70 of our traders from Udawa town alone and there are others from neighboring towns in the convoy that was attacked between Udawa and Buruku along the highway.” He said
As of the time of filing this report, the State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Jalige Mohammed is yet to release a detailed report of the incident.
